Hi, I’m Aliyah

My journey into this line of work wasn’t linear, and that’s exactly why I understand the complexities of career change on a personal level. After graduating with a BA Hons in Publishing Media, I started out in marketing before having children led me into retail sales part-time. From there, I rebuilt my career, moving into recruitment and eventually into careers education, a journey that tripled my income in just five years, and aligned my work with deeper purpose.

I support clients through 1:1 coaching, combining strategic advice with person-centred guidance. I won’t tell you what to do but I will help you uncover your own vocational identity, strengths, and direction. I also deliver workshops for education providers and partner with corporate clients on career transition and professional development.

My values are rooted in the Three P’s: person-centred, purposeful, and passion-led. I’ve worked across recruitment, education, and corporate settings, with experience in sectors like finance, law, tech, and the built environment. My work focuses on vocational identity, what makes work meaningful and motivating.

  • I received a Level 7 qualification (MA) from Nottingham Trent University, and continue to upskill in the area of careers education.

  • I ensure to keep up to date with the latest news, updates and developments within the careers and employability space.

  • I have worked across the careers and employability space including recruitment, employer engagement, careers consulting and professional development and use the tools gained from each role to improve and implement in my coaching.
